Day 3 of Nanowrimo is behind me.  It started off slow with only ~400 words for my morning writing due to a massive sinus headache.  I persevered and used my rules for myself to keep myself writing until I managed to write 1914 words putting my total to 5286 words which is 286 words more than I needed to write to meet my goals.

My rules for writing during Nanowrimo are very simple.  I am a gamer, I love PC games.  I am not allowed to do anything other than my day job until I have completed my words for the day.

I highly recommend you make rules like that for yourself if you are participating in Nanowrimo or any time you are holding yourself to a deadline.
